B.E.E. Binders

(Bring Everything Everyday)

The B.E.E. (Bring Everything Everyday) binder is a way to organize all the things we need on a day to day basis. Each child was asked to bring in a white 3-ring binder. This binder will house all of our materials needed for a successful year in third grade. Each binder will contain a student journal, home/school communication folder, and sheet protectors.

It is important that the B.E.E. Binder be treated with respect. These binders are not to be doodled on and every effort should be taken to keep them clean and in tip-top shape. This is an important communication piece and students will be using these binders all year. Let's take pride in our B.E.E. Binder.

The B.E.E. binder is to travel to and from school daily. It is the child's responsibility to share the B.E.E. Binder with his/her parents each night.

  • Front Cover
Each child will receive a cover sheet for the front sleeve of the B.E.E. Binder.

  • Front Pocket
The front inside pocket will contain homework.

  • Sheet Protectors
Sheet protectors will be placed in the front of each binder. The sheet protectors will hold important classroom information (math facts, home reading log, spelling list for the week, etc.).

  • Student Journal
Behind the sheet protectors, each binder will contain a student journal. The student journal is an important communication piece between home and school. The journal will be checked daily for parent signatures and important communication from home.

  • Communication Folder
The rear inside pocket will contain the Home/School Communication Folder.

  • All papers go in the B.E.E. binder. There should be NO loose papers in your desk at any time.
  • Take the B.E.E. Binder home with you each night and bring it to school with you each day.
  • Share the B.E.E. Binder with your parents each night.
  • Have your parents sign your student journal each night (this is your responsibility; not your parents).
  • Remove papers from the "Keep at Home" section of the Communication Folder each night.
  • Treat the B.E.E. Binder with respect.
  • Keep the B.E.E. Binder safe and clean at all times (do not draw or doodle on the binder).
